Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) is the Native Title Representative Body for the Pilbara, Murchison and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia and provides a range of professional services to the Traditional Owners of these regions. YMAC represents 24 different groups, all with their own culture, language, and traditions. YMAC’s representative area covers over 1 million square kilometres. YMAC provides Legal Services and anthropological research and Knowledge Partnerships services on behalf of claimants for the purposes of Native Title. The Knowledge Partnerships initiative extends our services to create ethical partnerships and collaborative projects to let Traditional Owners meet their aspirations for their community and country
About the Opportunity
Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Research Manager to provide leadership, strategic advice and effective management of YMAC research program, reports and staff.
Largely office based, the Research Manager role has a significant reporting and high-level administrative focus, compiling information for internal and external reporting, and working closely with department managers to develop strategic capability in line with the strategic focus of YMAC and Knowledge Partnerships.
